Board and Care Homes, also known as Residential Assisted Living, are residential homes individually licensed by the state of California Department of social services. They are well suited for meeting the custodial needs of seniors is a small and intimate environment. Each typically have a maximum capacity of six residents, and should not have less than two caregivers. This creates an excellent 1:3 staff to resident ratio. Services include assistance with activities of daily living, as well as: Home cooked meals, Laundry, in home activities, small communal dining and interaction.
